Do you ever struggle to carve out quality time with your kids? Have you recently experienced a life adjustment (such as the birth of a new baby, starting school, changing jobs, etc.) that has left you feeling detached from your child?
Do you miss the closeness of that mother-child bond you once had?
As a busy mom of three, I’ve been there. Sometimes I find myself nagging instead of nurturing.
Some days I say more of:
“Eat your dinner!”
“Leave your sister alone!”
And less of:
“I’m proud of the person you’re becoming.”
“I love spending time with you.”
“I’m so thankful you’re my child.”
All too often, I hear from moms just like you who know they need to spend time nurturing their child’s spiritual walk, but they just don’t have the time and aren’t sure where to start.
They rush through prayer and story time without genuine, meaningful connection.
More than 12 years of working in the mental health field has taught me that the way we speak to our children is of the utmost importance.
It’s not enough to read to our children about the love of Christ, we must also speak to our children the way Christ Himself would speak to them. Lovingly. Kindly. Gently.
Jesus, Mommy, and Me is a devotional unlike any other.
Not only does this e-book teach practical, Biblical principles, but it also provides daily affirmations for your child to foster closeness between the two of you.
Geared towards kids ages 4-8, Jesus, Mommy, and Me provides you with an opportunity to:
Remind your child that you will always love him.
Speak words of affirmation to him daily.
Ask her meaningful questions.
Talk about your own life experiences, as both a child and an adult.
Pray over your child in a powerful way.
Build a closer bond with your child.
Foster your child’s self-esteem and self-worth.
Here’s what other moms are saying.
“This devotional is a must-have for all parents. I can’t say enough how going through this has improved our family life. We have done devotionals before, but it was difficult to get my kids to actually engage with me. This time, however, we hit the engagement jackpot, and it was wonderful to see how excited my kids were to go over this nightly.”

“This devotional is one of the best family-oriented devotionals I have ever read. It is an easy read and engaging for both parent and child. It connected us both emotionally and spiritually in less than 10 minutes. I would recommend this devotional to any parent who is wanting to teach their child about Jesus in a loving manner.”

“I cannot recommend this devotional enough. I absolutely loved this take on talking about God with my 6-year-old son. We always spend time together reading or practicing school work before bed; adding this devotional to our routine provided us with more one-on-one time full of conversation which we both enjoyed. This devotional does a great job of including the children in the learning process, asking them for their ideas and letting them discuss what they think, which makes it more enjoyable for them.”

How does this work?
Every devotional includes a daily scripture, devotional with affirmations, talking point, and prayer.
Each devotion reads like a letter, from you to your child. When I read the first chapter to my own daughter, tears welled up in her eyes and her chin quivered. She threw her arms around my neck and whispered, “Mommy, that’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever said to me.”
Tears filled my own eyes as I hugged her close. In that moment, I knew I had to get this book into the hands of as many moms as I could.
Friend, we can impact our kids in a very positive, powerful, life-changing way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What age do you recommend for this book?
A: This book is targeted for kids ages 4-8. However, I’ve had moms with both younger and older kids tell me they really got a lot out of this devotion.
Q: I have more than one child. Can I read this to them together?
A: Yes, you can. However, I recommend that if you have more than one child, you read to them separately. Of course, you don’t have to! But I believe that both you and your child will get more out of it having that one-on-one time. These devotions are intentionally short and should only take about five-ten minutes of your time, per child.
Q: Can I still buy this book if I live outside the US?
A: Yes! You can purchase the Amazon Kindle version if you live outside the US. Unfortunately, because of sales tax laws, I’m only equipped to sell the printable PDF version to US residents.
Q: Is this book good for adoptive families?
A: Yes. This book was written with adoptive families in mind. You can rest assured that it is appropriate for adoptive and biological families.
Q: Are you sure this book won’t be too “touchy-feely” for my son?
A: I get it. I have a son, too. He’s not too into the “mushy” stuff. But here’s what I know. Boys do need to hear that they are cherished, loved, wanted, and accepted. It’s just as important for boys to hear that as girls. Might they giggle or roll their eyes? Maybe. But the message will plant tiny seeds in their heart. They won’t forget how you built them up. Quick tip: You have the freedom to customize this book to fit your child! Feel free to use the adjectives that work best for your son.
Q: Will you speak at my church or do an interview?
A: I have a background in public speaking and would love to do an interview or a speaking engagement if my schedule allows. For media inquiries or speaking requests, please email me: [email protected]
Q: What’s your return policy?
A: If you’re unhappy with your purchase for any reason, simply email me within 7 days of purchase and I will issue you a full refund. If you purchase via Amazon, you’ll need to contact them for a refund. (I really do think you’ll love it though!)
