18 Fall Decorations For Outdoor And Indoor Celebrations

Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons, especially when it comes after a long, hot summer. So, how can you welcome its arrival? With fall decorations of course!

From fall floral arrangements to pumpkin-shaped candle holders, there are so many ways for you to incorporate these decorations in your home, even if you aren’t crazy about seasonal decorations.

Sometimes all it takes is a beautiful centerpiece for your table or a set of candles to bring that atmosphere to your home.
Whether you’re looking for indoor or outdoor decorations, I’ve got you covered with my favorite fall decor.

1. Rubber-Cal Fall Colors Door Mat

When it comes to fall decorations, outdoor decor is a great place to start. This fall-themed doormat will add a pop of warm color to your front porch and make your visitors feel right at home.

The mat is illustrated with golden brown fall leaves against a warm yellow background. Its special design prevents it from moving around, making it practical, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

2. Evergreen Flag Scarecrow

Do you need more fall decorating ideas? Look no further than the scarecrow, a fall staple. It’s one of the best outdoor decor pieces you could get for your home.

This friendly-looking scarecrow will make for a lovely addition to your front or back door.

3. Cosmos Fine Porcelain Pumpkin Tea Light Holder

Pumpkin-themed anything automatically goes onto my list of favorite fall decor pieces.

This compact candle holder, shaped like a pumpkin, will look great on your mantelpiece, dining room tabletop, or in your living room as a source of warm light for those cold fall evenings.

Made from porcelain, this faux pumpkin will make sure your nights are warm and cozy.

4. Maple Leaf Candle Holders

If you’re looking for a fall decorative accent for your living room or bedroom but don’t like to go too over the top, then you will love this set of 3 simple candle holders.

They come in different sizes and you can arrange them however you’d like, separately or together.

5. Creative Scents Schonwerk Centerpiece

A good quality centerpiece on your dining table is the cherry on top of an amazing dinner party. Dark brown with a mosaic in the center, this centerpiece will add a touch of fall to your tabletop decor.

To add an extra fall kick, gather a few pinecones, acorns, or leaves and arrange them in the middle of the centerpiece.

6. LED Vintage Lantern

If you’re looking for rustic decorations for your front porch, these vintage lanterns are definitely worth considering. They are battery-powered and completely safe, although it looks as though there’s a real fire burning.

There’s a remote control included with the lanterns, so you can adjust the lighting and turn it on and off as needed. Make sure to have 3 AA batteries on hand before hanging them on your front porch.

I think these are a great fall alternative to the popular string lights and they work great as both indoor and outdoor lighting.

7. Fall Buffalo Check Fabric Tablecloth

One of my favorite indoor fall decorations is a good quality plaid tablecloth. This one, by Elrene Home Fashions, checks all the boxes, especially the black and orange color combination.

It’s made from cotton and is available in different table dimensions. Combine it with some fall table decorations, add a pumpkin spice fall candle or two, and you’re good to go.

8. Pumpkin Party Table Runner

Continuing with kitchen & dining accessories, this fall pumpkin table runner is a great choice for your upcoming dinner party or just as a decoration to keep on your dining table for the entire season.

It’s made from polyester and the carved-out pumpkins and leaves set this table runner apart from the rest. Cleaning it will be easy because it’s machine washable, so that’s an added bonus.

9. Fall Front Door Wreath

What are outdoor fall decorations without a lovely pumpkin wreath for your front door? This one includes leaves in bright fall colors that are sure to stand out.

It’s designed to stand the test of time and will hold up well in any weather conditions.

10. Maple Leaf Fall Garland

If you’re unsure about which decorations you should start with this fall season, my recommendation is to get a garland first. It’s a versatile piece of decor which you can use a dozen different ways, and it holds up well over time.

This 6-foot garland comes with a variety of colorful leaves to create a wonderful fall atmosphere in any room of your home. You can even place it outside, just make sure that it’s not directly exposed to the elements.

Obviously, the leaves aren’t natural but they really look like the real deal.

11. Sugar & Suede Home Company Throw Pillow Set

An easy way to give your living room a makeover is with a set of fall pillow covers. This set comes with four pillow covers with messages such as “Cuddle weather” and “Eat, drink & be thankful” which are perfect for the season.

They measure 18 x 18 inches and are a great way for you to start your festive pillow set collection – if you don’t have one already, that is.

When it’s time to put the Christmas decorations up, simply take off the covers, put them away until next year, and replace them with new ones.

12. Gibson Elite Casa Estebana 16 Piece Dinnerware Set

Rich dark brown and red colors make this dinnerware set perfect for the season. It’s great if you’re hosting a dinner party or just having a meal with your loved ones.

The set is made from stoneware and is safe for the dishwasher. It includes dinner plates, mugs, bowls, and dessert plates – everything you need for an amazing meal.

13. Glitzhome Handblown Golden/White Glass Gourd Table Accent

Although table decorations are a dime a dozen, this glass gourd is special. Why? Because it’s handmade! This gives them a unique look that will have everyone asking where you got it from.

Measuring a little over 9 inches in height, its bright patterns will bring a pop of color to your dining table, or wherever you decide to place it.

14. Nordic Ware Leaflettes Cakelet Pan

Fall-themed bakeware is another favorite of mine since this is the perfect time to bake and get creative in the kitchen. This pan comes with 12 shapes for you to bake to your heart’s content.

The pan needs to be washed by hand but other than that it’s a very practical way to bring fall vibes to your baking.

15. Welcome Fall Burlap House Flag

Give your front porch or garden a makeover with this house flag made of burlap.

The front and the back include beautiful illustrations of garden gnomes and pumpkins. Since the material is very durable, you can leave it outside no matter the weather.

16. Home Soft Things Knitted Tweed Throw Couch Cover Blanket

When I think of fall, I think about cozying up under a comfortable blanket with a cup of tea and a good book. An easy way to transform your living room and bring a touch of fall is by getting this lovely orange blanket.

Whether you’re using it to warm up on cold evenings or just as a decorative throw on your couch, you’ll love how soft it is. Plus, it’s machine washable!

17. Tree Wall Art for Living Room

Are you looking for wall decoration ideas? A simple painting is one of the best wall decorations money can buy as it’s timeless and adds a touch of elegance to your interior.

This piece of wall decor is hand-painted, which makes it unique, and it comes with a hook so you can hang it right away.

18. Harvest Serving Bowl for Thanksgiving and Halloween

When it comes to fall serveware, most people think of autumn leaves and turkeys but I also love pumpkin-themed serving dishes.

This is a simple serving bowl with two handles that features an illustration of a white and orange pumpkin. Simple yet rustic!

Final Thoughts

So, there you have it! These are some of my favorite fall decorations to make everyone feel excited about the arrival of colder weather and crunchy leaves on the ground.

Even if you live in a climate where fall is more similar to summer, fall swag can help you bring some of that atmosphere to your home. Just hang a fun outdoor decoration on your front porch and you’re all set!

I hope you enjoyed my recommendations – until next time!
