This one comes with toy monkeys and lions (it is zoo-themed, after all) that your baby will definitely enjoy.

If your little one gets bored with the attached toys, there are little toy trays you can use to place new ones for her to play with.

On the downside, it doesn’t play music (which is often more trouble than it’s worth anyway), so music is definitely not a necessity in my book! And this means that you don’t need batteries either.

But once your baby gets 30 inches tall, it’s probably best to tell the Exersaucer goodbye.

At this point, the baby could even crawl their way out of the bouncer and seriously hurt themselves, so it’s best to avoid using it once the baby gets too tall.

The seat pad is machine washable, but it’s not very thick since it’s only made out of fabric and your baby might not find it very comfy.

But I love the portable alligator toy that you can actually take out.

There are 3 adjustable height levels but the maximum height that’s allowed is 32 inches.

This jumper also has great portability – you can quickly fold it or take it apart.

Another really cool thing about this jumper is the motion sensor feature, so every time your baby jumps, lights and music come on, encouraging them to jump more.

7. Skip Hop Silver Lining Cloud Baby’s View 3-Stage Interactive Activity Center

The Skip Hop model is a very customizable activity station that has a lot in common with the Fisher-Price Activity Center.

Even though it’s not appropriate for newborns, babies as young as 4 months can use the Skip Hop to play, bounce, and develop their motor skills.

Parents can customize the toy station as much as they want since the toys are attached with special clips.

There is also a “discovery window” or hole through which the baby can see their feet as they bounce, which teaches them how to be aware of their surroundings.

The rotating seat expands while the baby jumps which makes it more comfortable.

I also really like the electric piano that you can place on the bouncing platform in front of your baby’s feet or on the station itself where the baby can reach it with their hands.

When they press a key, the toy piano plays different songs for children.

But you can also add some of your own!

Not all baby jumpers look like baby walkers though!

This means that the baby’s seat is attached to a portable stand which allows them to jump up and move around.

Another big difference is that there are usually no toys – this type of freestanding bouncer doesn’t look like a piece of baby gear.

The Jolly Jumper model consists of a portable frame you can place anywhere – indoors or outdoors.
